How To Play:
1- From the "Soft" folder, install all the provided additional software.
2- Run ".bat" once (located in the game folder). Close it after it finishes, you
won't need to run it again. Do not delete the "Install_EFT" folder!
3- Start the server by launching "SPT.Server.exe" located in Your
"Drive:\Escape from Tarkov". Keep this window open until you exit the game.
4- Launch the game using "SPT.Launcher.exe", also located in Your
"Drive:\Escape from Tarkov".
5- Choose the game type and create a profile.
6- Click "Play" and create your character in the game.

How in the hell did you get version 4.0.0 of SPT when the developers are only at version 3.10.5??? It works perfectly, but no SPT mods work because it’s a version from the future and all the mods are for 3.10.

I think it’s just a test version of SPT for the latest Tarkov and someone is ing here. There’s a lot of bugs and broken stuff in there, so it’s better wait for the official release.
4.0.0 is in beta state, all the basic mechanics of the game are working. but you’re right about one thing, the pre-release versions are introductory.

For anyone struggling to get it to work because of the instructions, do the following:
1) Install the software in the Soft folder if you have installed it before.
2) Open the Reserved Crack folder, then copy everything there to the Escape from Tarkov folder.
3) Move the Escape folder Tarkov and .bat to the root of your drive (C:, D:, etc)
4) Run registrar.bat. This will create the Install_EFT folder.
5) Run the SPT server from the Escape from Tarkov folder. Once this says the server is running, run the SPT launcher.
6) Select the type of game you want (i.e. unreleased edition) and create your profile.
7) Click Play and Enjoy.

The game is working but it has a lot of bugs!
-Grenades are not working.
-The option to put more enemies makes the game crash
Neither problem is happening in my environment, so I think it’s not a bug but a lack of specs on my computer.
It’s more likely that lowering the graphics won’t solve the problem because it’s a processing problem, not a description problem, but try lowering the graphics settings and keeping the number of enemies the same and see what happens or reduce it.

Yeah this is a special dev version. Doesnt work with any spt mods so just get the one before this (also retards read the big ass tutorial on the frontt page before commenting that your game doesnt work damn)

no. if you want to play with mods in 4.0, wait for the release and updates of mods for this version from the authors, or rebuild mods for this version yourself from the source.

Shoutout to @Torm_Ozz, but yeah the game is just incredibly annoying to play without AI Mods like SAIN. I really hope there’s a version that’s playable with mods soon
“.json” in ‘\profiles\’ contains all the hit points and other values for status, so if you edit this, you can set the hit points for each part to whatever number you want, perhaps even make the guy not fall down no matter how many shots he gets.
It’s pretty cheating, but if you don’t turn it up too high, you can keep the play at a reasonable difficulty level.
As for where to tweak the numbers, if you have some knowledge or good guesses, you can easily find them with a text search by recalling the game’s status.

SPT versions are tied to a specific tarkov version. EVERY release of SPT MUST be paired with the EXACT tarkov version. You cannot play the 3.10.5 SPT with the versions of tarkov being posted in the comments.
