   because it’s easy. you make a game overly difficult, allow your players to ability to get a little stronger every time they make a little progress, and you turn a game that you could beat in 20 minutes, into a game that’ll take months to beat.

   @what because they have you replay the same shit over and over when you die so it feels like the game actually has a meaningful amount of content, like the souls games
