   WOW….
   i was bitching about this game on ACTIVISION aout 5 months ago aout why they dont make game 3?

   well fuck me…. by myself….. THEY DID A REMASTER!!!!
   this is a MUST GAME!!!

   Did they fix the messed up framerate?

   Prototype 1 and 2 are infamous on PC for their terrible frames per second performance. There are a million ‘solutions’ online, I’m sure all of them work depending on the situation, but the one which worked for me is one I only ever read in 1 place, and I can’t find it now:

   Go to the games folder in Documents and delete the file pertaining to your profile settings. Not your saved game, just the one pertaining to your profile settings. I think it’s the top file if I right. At least in English it is. Delete that, and while your framerate will not be perfect, it will at least be at 60fps with only minor drops here and there.

   Howver, maybe they totally fixed it in this release.

   Yes, it does the stupid “prohibited symbols” error again and again, and yes, if you copy the files on the root of your C: drive the installer will work. But FitGirl should definitely address this issue, their installers are pure shit compared to others, and impoverish the fine work they do on the repacks.

    i have a problem i am stuck in a mission it tells me to kill a trooper
    i kill him and no enemies left and nothing happens it keeps telling me to kill the trooper

    I have installed the game, but when i try to run the game i get a black screen for 2-3 seconds and then it closes again. Anyone any tips?

    If you get an error during installation just change it to Rar file and then try to install worked for me!

    Anyone knows how to set up this game 60fps 1440p? Please?
    For the crash thing u just have to rename the folder to Prototype2 and then in the properties Prototype.exe choose Windows98/Me compatibilty

      i know its a year old comment, but disabling the “ and install” options below the “update DirectX” should work
